We are Dorthae Music.

Dorthae Music is the ministry of music within Dorthae Pentecostal Church in Corbin, KY. It is made up of the DPC Sanctuary Choir, DPC Youth Worship, and The Dorthae Band. The name "Dorthae Music" encompasses all of these unique ministries.

DPC Sanctuary Choir ministers in Sunday services at 11 AM and 6 PM. DPC Youth Worship ministers in our midweek service on Wednesday evening at 7 PM. The Dorthae Band is a talented group of musicians that accompanies both of these groups.

The earliest church services at Dorthae Pentecostal Church were rich in music. In the early days, when our church was in the old building, there were several families and singing groups who ministered during services. As an effort to include all of the church's talented young individuals in the music ministry, the DPC Youth Choir was born.  The first choir directors included Jan Sulfridge Hart and Marlene Hensley. 

As the youth choir's foundational members grew older, the name DPC Youth Choir was no longer fitting. The church migrated to the new building in the 1970s, and the name of the group became DPC Sanctuary Choir to allow for worship leaders of all ages.  

Today, the DPC Sanctuary Choir continues to minister, almost 50 years strong. We are a group of believers who love to uplift the name of Jesus through our song. Our musical styles range from traditional gospel to praise and worship.

In addition, DPC Youth Worship is a group of teenagers and young adults that minister on Wednesday nights. This group sings contemporary christian and modern worship music.

The Dorthae Band is made up of skilled musicians who serve in Sunday and Wednesday services.
